Bio

Stephen Paré was born in Ithaca, New York and bases his multi-disciplinary practice in Houston, Texas.

In addition to being a digital artist, he has been a professional performing musician, writer, and actor. He has composed commissions for acoustic and electronic music ensembles, especially for theater, opera, and contemporary dance.

He makes his artworks in computers and mobile devices; his artistic and literary models are mostly 19th- and 20th-century painters and writers.

Since 2022 his artworks have appeared in numerous exhibitions in Rome, Milan, Venice, Madrid, New York City, and other cities, and has upcoming exhibitions in Los Angeles and Paris.
